Without wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. in the lineup, the New York Giants offense scored just three points in their loss to Dallas in Week 1. OBJ didn’t sound optimistic about if he’ll play when the Giants face the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football (5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The Giants have won four of their last five games against the Lions but they’re off to a rocky start after losing 19-3 on the road to Dallas in the season opener. The Lions won their opener 35-23 over the Cardinals. It marked the Lions’ 16th fourth-quarter comeback under Jim Caldwell since he became Detroit’s head coach in 2014 and the ninth since the start of last season.

The victory over Arizona marked the 29th time Matthew Stafford has engineered a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime when the Lions were tied. His nine fourth-quarter comebacks last season were an NFL record.

Despite spending much of the offseason focusing on upgrading the offense, the New York Giants looked pitiful on the side of the ball in a Week 1 loss to the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys. They will try to right the ship under the bright lights of Monday Night Football against the Detroit Lions in Week 2, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN (live streaming at WatchESPN). New York lost that game, 19-3, while Eli Manning failed to throw a touchdown pass and the team as a whole rushed for a paltry 35 yards in total. Paul Perkins, in his regular season debut as the starting running back, had just 16 yards on seven carries. New receiver Brandon Marshall had just one catch for 10 yards, his only target.

After two Sundays of NFL football, seven teams are undefeated. The Broncos, Ravens, Panthers, Chiefs, Steelers, Raiders and Falcons all turned in impressive wins to move to 2-0 on the season (all right, the Panthers 9-3 barn-burning win against the Bills wasn’t that impressive, but a win’s a win). The Detroit Lions will have a chance to join the ranks of the early-season elite Monday night as they take on the New York Giants, who looked absolutely putrid in a 19-3 loss to the Cowboys in Week 1.

The Chargers finished last in the AFC West last season, but that doesn’t mean the Broncos are taking them lightly. Former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Von Miller called this year’s team the toughest one he’s ever faced. The two teams square off on Monday Night Football, which kicks off at 10:20 p.m. ET on ESPN

The Chargers might have moved from San Diego to Los Angeles, but they still get to face the Denver Broncos twice each season. The first meeting comes in the second half of the Monday Night Football double-header. The line is Broncos -3, meaning Vegas thinks Denver will win by three points, down a point from an open of four. The Over-Under, or total projected points, is 42, down two points from where it opened.

The Los Angeles Chargers face the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field on Monday, Sept. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch. The Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos will get to relax while almost every other NFL team is playing this Sunday afternoon, as these two will open up on the latter slate of ESPN’s Monday Night Football — behind the New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings.
